Westminster’s Baseball program has a long history characterized by gritty, multitalented athletes. 每年春天, Martlet baseball players who are interested in getting their individual games into season-ready shape travel to Florida for a week of preseason practice. Upon returning to Connecticut to play on the premier facilities offered at Westminster’s Osborn Field, the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams take shape during the tryout period in late March. With a full schedule of competitive games, Westminster baseball players have an opportunity to play America's pastime at a level that yields many college athletes from throughout the Founders 联盟 each year.

 

The Junior Varsity Boys' Baseball coaches seek to provide every player with an excellent experience while striving to serve the interests of the Varsity squad by developing future Varsity players and occasionally providing younger Varsity players with valuable game experience. We have a dedicated practice field and full access to indoor and outdoor batting tunnels as well as a multi-purpose indoor turf. All of our home games are played on Osborn Field.

 

Every member of the Junior Varsity Baseball team can expect to be held to a high standard while receiving excellent instruction and an opportunity to represent Westminster with 毅力 and 格蕾丝.
